Kettlebell Pentathlon Explained

5 Kettlebell Exercises
Clean (120 reps max)
Long Cycle Press (60 reps max)
Jerk (120 reps max)
Half Snatch (108 reps max)
Push-Press (120 reps max)
Rules
6 minutes for each exercise
5 minute rest between exercises
No points for exceeding maximum reps
Unlimited hand changes
Choose any weight for any exercise: 8kg-72kg
Press (part of long cycle press) – knees can’t bend
Push-press exercise – feet can’t leave the floor
Points Awarded
1 point per 8kg
8kg = 1
12kg = 1.5
16kg = 2
20kg = 2.5
24kg = 3
28kg = 3.5
32kg = 4
etc
Total Score Example
Clean: 32kg 80 reps x 4 points = 320
Long Cycle Press: 24kg 50reps x 3 points = 150
Jerk: 20kg 94reps x 2.5 points = 235
Half Snatch: 20kg 86reps x 2.5 points = 215
Push Press: 16kg 66reps x 12 points = 132
Total Score: 1052
